Singing in the Rain

Work was fun today :) I can go online all day and my boss doesnt care. She gave us a 2 hr lunch cuz she had a meeting..and she is letting me handle all of the Hillary Clinton stuff. and she loves my writing so i get to write rebuttles on negative stories written about hillary. And i am in charge of redoing our webpage. And a bunch of other cool stuff...i really love it. Plus, the other 2 interns are awesome.

Well, after work today, Lizelle and i decided to go grab a bite to eat...i found this place serving happy hour appetizers for like a dollar, and we decided to look for it...after much walking, we found 1720 M Street: It was a CVS Pharmacy.... Not a restaurant...ya ummm, i guess they tore it down and made a cvs...whatever, so we started looking for somewhere else to eat and ended up at a random chinese place. For $7, i got an eggroll, soup, won tons, fried rice, and orange chicken...pretty yummy. And by the time we were ready to leave, it was RAINING. Thankfully, we had our umbrellas :) So we opened them up and started walking to the bus stop. But we couldnt find the right bus...and this lady waiting at a stop was like, "Omg you guys only like a few blocks away, you could totally walk"

So we felt dumb and started to walk...in the rain...carrying our to-go boxes..lol. But the stupid rain here in DC doesnt come straight down...its like sideways..so no matter what, half your body gets wet!! I sacrificed my right side b/c i was carrying my big purse on the left...Thankfully, it was really warm out. And yikes, i almost slipped like a dozen times cuz i was in flip flops...bad idea..flip flops and rain dont work. Lizelle and i stopped for a few seconds to take dorky pictures of ourselves in the rain. So ya, the rain in dc is hella random!
