ANYWAYS, friday morning, our class had a voluntary field trip to gettysburg. some sort of civil war tour. noooo idea why we RSVP'd. but whatever...and didnt realize it was at 7am...Also didnt realize that Gettysburg was in PENNSYLVANIA!?! I thought it was like down the street.. our professor rented a nice bus for us, so me nicole and lizelle sat in the back. Basically, everyone in our group hates us.. lol... the trip was about an hour and a half..and we were all soooo tired. We finally get to this museum and the first thing we do is hit up the gift shop... looooool...so typical. Well, we walked around and we all realized that this stuff was a little boring :/
I made a slideshow so u can see everythign we did...ill paste some of my favorites on here too. So ya, our first stop was the museum..and we didnt know what we were looking at. Nor did we know where to go..
After the museum, we got back on our bus and headed to see some little monuments, Honestly, the tourguide was talking and explaining everything, but it was all over my head. And i learned nothing. And i decided it was more fun to make up my own stories for each statue lol.
And the tour only got worse... the weather was kinda crappy. Drizzely early in the morning. Totally foggy the rest of the day. But WAY better than the extreme heat of DC. So next, we went to some random open fields to see exactly where the battles were fought. So unnecessary. Had to walk in the mud and dirt and there were bugs. Nicole faked being sick by this point and stayed on the bus for the remainder of the trip... So now it was me and Lizelle. But we made some friends!! Cornell was super cool.. but he decided he needed to pee..and since there were no bathrooms, he walked away from our group and peed on a tree lol. And broke his belt. Cornell probably peed on some historic landmark. Fortunately, our professor thought it was halarious. Unfortunately, our tourguide didnt lol. So now, the tourguide hated all of us. I mean, honestly, what is so interesting about huge fields of NOTHING?!
By this time, we were hungry and tired and just wanted to go home. We tried to make the most of it, so lizelle and i began to take a million pictures lol. We went to like 3 more fields. and some foresty looking places.
Ughhhhh, so they finally fed us. Threw us back on the bus, and took us to one more site. Like seriously, all i saw on this tour was trees, open fields, and cannons. I hate Pennsylvania... :)

You should have gone to Hafiz's house for lunch. I think he lives in pennsylvania. LOL. It looked like a really boring field trip...those kind that you HAVE to take by force through school.

hahahaha, ummm unfortunately, i didnt have my chadar with me. so i was unable to have lunch with him. LOL
and ya, i dont know it was gonna be so boring. ughhh
